复合材料添加剂制造专家标记(Watertown, Mass., U.S.), creator of the integrated metal and carbon fiber additive manufacturing platform called the Digital Forge, announced in June that it will debut its newest printer, the FX20, at Formnext in November 2021. Markforged says the FX20 will transform the Digital Forge into a next-generation additive manufacturing platform capable of printing high-temperature thermoplastics reinforced with continuous fiber at the click of a button. Targeted end markets include aerospace, defense, automotive and oil and gas. Shai Terem, president and CEO of Markforged, says the FX20 enables robust production of lightweight, advanced composite parts that overcome the limitations of traditional manufacturing. The FX20 is expected to ship worldwide in the first half of 2022.
